Hai guys, question. Anyone work with a light meter? Anyone think shooting film is worthwhile even though I know the technical shit already?
I've got a nice Nikon F2, but the internal light meter doesn't work. I'm kind of interested in shooting film because of the results you can get, but it's not really very important to me. Worth doing or a waste of time and money?

They have free light meter apps for your phone. (I think you said you have an Android phone) Although, I have no idea how well they actually work.
I would do it.
I have a shit-tier Android and the light meters aren't really compatible. I mean, I can manually enter the luminosity, but that kind of defeats the purpose.
I might pick up a cheap one and see how it does. I'm mostly just interested in, as you touched on in the last page, having a more discreet rangefinder at my disposal.
