These little things are coming out soon, and will be under 50 bucks. Supposedly capable of rending blu-ray quality video/audio over HDMI.
Guess they sold out last night while I was sleeping, so I will have to wait to order mine. I could use like 10 of these at home to do random stuff for that price and save time. I'm excited!

in theory, could something like this be used to set up a render farm for animation/video? im a bit of a noob when it comes to hardware (even tho i built my own system), but this has sparked my interest.
