They didn't plan it. They put gay relationships in the first game 1) because they could (it is actually easier to just not add gender restrictions) and 2) to appeal to gay or bisexual customers. Apparently, customers requested taking it to the next level and wanted to see transsexuals in the game.
I'm glad this was added, actually. I mean, I've never played any of the games and don't intend to, but still.
what do you mean? i know a fake image was passed around saying quotes from her that weren't true. but she still is a very shitty writer. seriously go look up what she has written, its homo erotic and horribly written. She did how ever say that she doesn't like games and wishes you could just skip playing them all together. I don't get why she is working for a video game company then.
No shit Ashley Williams is a tranny. Bruce Campbell is the fucking man but I don't think even he has the power to turn into an actual woman.

Not to defend her but she is a writer. Not a game designer. The have game designers for game design decisons. Writing is writing.
Jesus. What an awfully contrived move to appeal to fans. Homosexual, bisexual, whicheversexual characters, no problem, but this addition is so utterly contrived and ridiculous. What need does it serve in the story? This was the best they could come up with? I miss the days of BG1/2 and Planescape-level writing...
I miss games where I got a gun and could kill people and not worry about if the character I was pixel fucking was a trap or not. Jesus titty fucking christ.
Catgarvin, send me a pic of your sexy, sexy self.
I'm glad I nailed Tali instead in ME 2, and I think Liara in ME1.
Of course, who knows what's under Tali's encounter suit.
So yeah, Ashley's not a tranny...
