A dude got canned by Rockstar and the article says that the contract that held him to secrecy is now null and void (which sounds fishy but he could be totally ignorant of NDAs), but he does what any good ex-employee would do and spills the beans on his company's biggest secrets to an Internet forum.

There's more in the link but some things that stick out are 32 player online multiplayer, a MASSIVE map, and planes ranging from WWII airplanes to private jets. New stuff ranges from semi-customizable weapons to being able to do different drugs.
Yeah it's hearsay, but it's super detailed and seems to fit in with the trailer. It's hard to imagine that ALL of this is completely wrong. Some of them seem like awesome additions.

Yeah obviously he would use the trailer as a base of the lie but this is a DAMN good lie if that's the case. And the fact that it was brought down so quickly and all traces were erased seems shady. It's likely fake, but it's more fun if you think it's real. Besides I also thought it could spark a good discussion over which of these ideas seem interesting. So for the sake of fun lets just pretend it is real. Some of these are legitimately awesome.
Personally I really liked the thought of a whole underground economy to fuck with. That'd add a whole new dimension of gameplay that makes my Jewdar tingle

Also, before the forum got hacked an right after the teaser trailer I said that the game would be located in Los Santos and San fierro and las venturas would not be in the game. Meatsandwich said he would pay me $100 dollars US if I was right. I have not received my payment yet.

i thought of that too. seems like the perfect time to "leak" some info just as the craze of its announcement is dying down. if everyone is talking about the game people are going to be even more eager to buy it. regardless its still a GTA game and i will buy it even if everyone thinks its shitty. i enjoyed the fuck out of GTA4 and every rockstar game i have (RDR, all GTAs, l.a. noire, manhunt 1&2, max payne etc.) they know how to make games i enjoy.

Looks like there's a lot more in there to make it a bit more like a real city. Not enough to ruin the feel of the game, but just to enhance it. I like the fact that if you have a weapon drawn, the cops will act different, or how you won't be able to go 120 down main roads without anyone so much as acknowledging it.
