Anyone Ever Use a DS Emulator?

For some reason recently I've really wanted to try out the latest Pokemon games mostly to see how the franchise has progressed, but obviously to try that out I'd need a good DS emulator. I've used GB, N64 and Sega Genesis emulators before for this type of thing and they always worked fine but I feel like the newer wave of gaming systems make it kinda hard to run a solid emulator on a laptop (I'm not gonna run them on my family desktop because, quite honestly, my laptops have better specs in them than the desktop).

So I was wondering if anyone had tried any DS emulators that worked well and were easy to set up. As a bonus, I have an old laptop that has a tablet screen that I can use. I was wondering if there were any emulators out there that would let me take advantage of this and use the touch screen abilities of the laptop while playing. Thanks in advance for the help

I found one and tried it once. Its a bit hard to use the mouse as the stylus pad thing and use the buttons at the same time. Overall its do'able, but much more difficult than other emulators.

Hm interesting. I'd basically use it for Pokemon and Pokemon alone lol. So I can't imagine the controls would be too complex, but I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the insight

Should not be difficult at all. Most just use it for inventory and choosing attacks.
